My name is Niya and I am a 2 yr old Chihuahua mix. I weigh about 18#. I am a very sweet girl and love to play with other dogs my size but I don't know that they may want their own space. If they are eating or getting a treat or chewing a bone, I might walk right up and try to take it out of their mouth. Because of this, if my new family already has a dog, they have to be tolerant of that. It seems like my previous owners never taught me anything and then, when I did something they didn't like, they maybe hit me or yelled really loud. Because of this, I need a new family that will be patient with me a teach me to be the best girl that I can be. I am crate trained and I am working really hard on my house training. I LOVE to chase a ball and bring it back! I can do it for hours! I love lots of exercise so a fenced yard would be best. If I don't have that, my family will need to take me on a few long, brisk sniff walks everyday to help me release my energy. I am spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. My adoption donation is $350.
