About Macy

Macy is a spirited 2-year-old Bluetick Coonhound who thrives on attention and companionship. Her personality shines, and she has a knack for being the center of attention—she would feel right at home in a Thanksgiving Day Parade. Vaccinated and microchipped, she’s ready to find her forever home! Previously an outdoor dog, Macy enjoys exploring her surroundings, but she’s learning leash manners and needs some guidance in that area. She gets along well with other dogs but is uncertain about cats, so a supervised introduction would be necessary. A fenced yard would suit her best, allowing her to sniff and roam safely while keeping her curious nose busy. Come and meet Macy at the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter, available Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
