At nearly five years old, this delightful girl combines the strength and beauty of her breed with a sweet, snuggly heart. Don’t mistake her for a husky; while similar, Skylar is all Malamute greatness, tipping the scales at about 100 pounds. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and her heartworm tests are up to date, making her ready for her forever home. Her gorgeous coat has a luxurious, medium length in cream and black, but be prepared: Skylar loves pampering sessions, and you'll be treating her to plenty of spa days! Skylar's ideal home is one that truly understands the needs of large Northern breeds and is ready for the grooming responsibilities that come with her. She prefers to be the center of your universe—no sharing attention with dogs, cats, or kids. Skylar delights in showing off her smarts with tricks like sit, down, shake, and even speak! She’s not yet house trained, but she makes up for it as a passionate couch potato and champion snuggler when not out on her long walks. Skylar is available for visits Tuesday to Saturday from 10am-6pm at AuSable Valley Animal Shelter. She can't wait to meet you and show off all her best moves!
