Skylar is a true Alaskan Malamute—large and striking with a big personality to match. At almost 5 years old, she brings both confidence and plenty of energy but is happiest lounging with her people after a long walk. With her black and cream coat and classic Malamute look, she definitely turns heads, and, yes, she needs regular grooming to keep that coat in shape. Skylar has been spayed, microchipped, and all her vaccinations are current. She wants a family with large-breed experience and clear boundaries. Skylar isn’t interested in sharing the spotlight: she must be the only animal in the home. Kids, cats, and other dogs just aren’t her thing. She’s smart and knows several tricks—sit, down, shake, and speak—and reliably uses the potty outside. Loyal and affectionate with her chosen people, Skylar loves snacks, cuddle sessions, and outdoor adventures, but contentedly transforms into a couch potato too.
