About Bruno
Meet Bruno, a charming black and tan Dachshund full of personality. Found as a stray, he was rescued by a kind-hearted person who reached out to All Texas Dachshund Rescue. At around 2 years old and weighing 16 lbs, Bruno has incredibly soft ears that invite endless petting. This cuddle bug loves to relax with his foster mom, particularly during Netflix sessions. He's on a mission to keep his backyard squirrel-free, with a dedicated patrol of the trees where the squirrels dare to nest. In the poolside photos, you can see him eagerly searching the branches, ensuring his territory is safe from intruders. Bruno is crate trained and making good progress with house training, though he requires regular outdoor access since his foster home lacks a doggy door. He enjoys his meals and isnβt fussy. He gets along well with the senior medium-sized dog in his foster home but may need a meet-and-greet before joining other canine companions. While Bruno is a bit shy with new people initially, he quickly becomes a loving friend with a few treats. He is neutered and fully vaccinated, though he will need heartworm treatment for the next couple of months. After that, he'll be all set to find his forever home. Don't miss your chance to adopt this lovable guy!
