About Jack Jack
Meet Jack Jack. Jack Jack is an 8-year-old, 55-pound Australian Cattle Dog in search of a forever home after patiently waiting for 1.5 years. This sweet senior boy deserves to find the love he’s been missing. His foster has given him a safe and caring place, but it's time for Jack Jack to have a family of his own. He’s a laid-back companion who enjoys the simple pleasures in life: a comfy spot to nap, treats, and the affection of his humans. Jack Jack loves to lounge around and be part of the household, especially when he can supervise kitchen activities. If a quiet, devoted friend is what you’re after, he may be the perfect match. Jack Jack does have mild hip dysplasia, but it doesn't slow him down. He thrives in a calm environment, ideally with older children or no kids at all. He’s leash trained, house trained, and crate trained, and knows commands like sit and shake. Jack Jack prefers peaceful canine companions, getting along best with sweet, non-reactive dogs who respect his gentle nature. He enjoys his meals alone to avoid any potential conflicts over treats. When storms or fireworks hit, Jack Jack seeks comfort by snuggling with you, ensuring his safe haven remains with the people he loves. After waiting so long, he deserves to know where he belongs and be surrounded by those who appreciate his affectionate nature. Jack Jack is in Krum, TX, but he can be adopted locally or out of state, with safe transport available.
