About Cammie

Meet Cammie, an adorable Poodle mix who is about 8 months old. Cammie's story begins when her mom was abandoned on an older Veteran, which led to a litter of puppies. Despite the challenges, Cammie’s mom provided what she could, including safety and food. Now, Cammie is ready for her forever home. This sweet girl has a friendly personality and gets along well with other dogs. While she hasn't been tested with cats or kids, we believe she'd adapt well to a family setting. Cammie recently joined the Paws in Prison program, where she'll learn essential skills like house training, leash walking, and basic commands over the next eight weeks. She’s set to graduate the week of December 14, and we’re hopeful to have an adopter ready for her by then. Cammie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and receiving preventive care for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. Her personality shines through, as she’s smart, sweet, and a little bashful. Cammie’s easy on the eyes with her endearing appearance, and trust us, she’s going to make a wonderful companion.
