About Troubadour "Tru"

Meet Troubadour, affectionately known as Tru! This young mixed-breed boy has a heart of gold and an inspiring story. When he first arrived at our rescue, Tru was severely neglected, underweight, and had spent most of his life confined to a crate. However, he has transformed into a happy, affectionate, and playful young dog who loves being around people. Tru is about a year old and enjoys soaking up attention and forming strong bonds with those who treat him kindly. He gets along well with most dogs, especially those around his size or smaller, and prefers neutered companions. Now a healthy 60 lbs, he is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and eager to find his forever home. He is currently honing his crate and house training skills and will soon participate in the Paws in Prison program to further develop his training. Tru will thrive in a loving environment with a patient adopter willing to provide him the stability he needs. Located in Alexander, AR, Tru is available for adoption to local families or those in New England, with transport possibilities. Could you be the happy ending Tru has been waiting for?
