About Monte

Meet Monte, the delightful mix that leaves everyone guessing his origins. With a face reminiscent of a Husky and the legs of a Corgi, this medium-sized young male is truly one of a kind. His chocolatey coat makes him look as if he's been dipped in a sweet treat, and he certainly has a personality to match. Monte was found as a stray, sadly unclaimed by his previous owners. Now, he's at animal control, awaiting the right family to bring him home. With his higher energy levels, Monte needs an active household where playtime and structure are valued. After a good romp in the yard, he’ll happily plop down next to you for some well-deserved snuggles. He does well with other dogs and seems to be great with kids, too! This uniquely charming pup is full of life and joy, ready to keep you entertained with his playful antics. Monte deserves a chance outside a kennel environment where he can flourish and be loved. Rover's Do Over is seeking a committed foster or adopter to help Monte escape his current situation. Could you be the one to give him the home he craves?
