About Vader

Meet Vader! Don't let the name fool you—this charming boy wants nothing more than to steal your heart (and maybe take over your backyard playtime). Born on April 2, 2026, Vader is a lively 45 lb mix of Husky and Blue Heeler, with striking baby blue eyes that are bound to capture your attention. This energetic pup thrives on action. Whether it’s running, wrestling, or a high-speed chase, he’s eager for adventure. Vader enjoys the company of other dogs and would flourish with a canine buddy to play with. Given his playful nature and size, he’s best suited for a home with older kids, around ages 5 to 10, who can keep up with his exuberance without being overwhelmed. When playtime winds down, Vader shows his gentle side. He is incredibly affectionate, relishing every pet, hug, or snuggle you’re willing to offer. Vader's highlights include his quick learning; he already knows "sit" and "lay down," is pee-pad trained, and exhibits great crate manners. He’s also road trip-ready and settles in well during car rides. Loud noises don't bother him—thunder, fireworks, or loud trucks are just background noise to this brave guy. While he may give a quick bark to greet newcomers, he warms up within moments. Currently, he’s working on typical puppy behaviors like chewing and digging. While he does well on a leash, he’ll need continued practice. As a curious mix of working breeds, he loves to explore, so a secure space is essential to prevent him from going off on solo adventures. Vader is up to date on vaccinations and is looking for an active, loving home where he can bring joy and companionship. Ready to meet Vader?
