About Canyon
Canyon is a handsome 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees who’s learning to embrace life after coming into rescue as a stray. Weighing in at 66 pounds, he’s still figuring out the basics of being a dog but is making wonderful progress. He’s already mastered house training, impressively managing to stay accident-free in his foster home despite his past. Canyon enjoys playing with other dogs, and he's slowly beginning to enjoy attention from humans, showing a newfound playful side. Although he gets anxious sometimes, especially with leash and crate training, he needs a patient family to help him build confidence at his own pace. Canyon gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids, making him a great fit for various homes. Ideally, he would thrive in a family where someone is home often and with another friendly dog to mentor him. Canyon is still working on overcoming some anxiety, but each day brings him closer to the confident, happy dog he's meant to be. If you can offer him the time, love, and companionship he needs, he’d love to find his forever home. His adoption fee is $150 and includes his spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip. Think you can help Canyon discover all the joy life has to offer?
