About Knox
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Knox, a Great Pyrenees who truly defines what it means to be a gentle giant, weighing around 115 lbs. His heartwarming nature shines even brighter as he navigates the world with a special need—Knox is deaf—but remains a happy, easy-going soul whose mild manner inspires everyone he meets. Because of his hearing impairment, Knox brings a unique perspective and a very sweet presence to his daily life. Knox does have a strong preference around food: he needs to be fed alone in a room with the door closed, both away from people and animals, because he becomes very possessive of his meals. For this reason, he must be the only dog in his future home, and a household without children is best suited to his needs. The right family for Knox will cherish his distinctive qualities and be patient, understanding, and full of unconditional love. In return, Knox will offer his companionship, joy on peaceful walks, and plenty of quiet comfort at home. If you’re looking to share your life with a sweet-natured, special dog, Knox is ready to fill your days with tail wags and affection. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
