About Jackie

Jackie is a tri-colored beagle mix, estimated to be between 3 to 5 years old. Weighing in at 17 pounds, she combines the characteristics of both a beagle and a Jack Russell Terrier, also known as a Jack-a-Bee. Found as a stray in Sacramento County, Jackie was turned over to a local shelter after her rescuer could not find her owner. Stress at the shelter led us to bring her into our care. This sweet girl has a playful spirit. Jackie loves to be near her humans, whether that’s sitting beside you or snuggling under the covers at night. Her energy truly shines during meal times; she jumps around like a pogo stick, eagerly awaiting her food. Jackie has a knack for standing on her hind legs, showcasing her excitement. An ideal companion for active families, she thrives on companionship and play. She generally gets along well with dogs but has a tendency to chase cats if given the chance. If you think you’re the right match for Jackie, don't hesitate to reach out. Jackie is ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
