About Nova
Meet Cookie! This girl is as sweet as a treat after a long day. At around 4 years old, Cookie is a Heeler mix who’s ready for her luck to turn around after facing tough times. She came to us with her daughter, Nova, after being dumped when Nova was just a puppy. Cookie has clearly been through a lot, giving birth multiple times, and it seems she was used for breeding before being abandoned. Fortunately, kind individuals offered her and Nova a safe space, but now they must find their next loving home. Cookie is not just pretty; she’s incredibly sweet and eager to befriend everyone she meets. She has a gentle nature and has previously lived well with children and other dogs. While she shares treats nicely with Nova, we recommend supervising her introductions to new dogs to ensure they bond well. Cookie does not get along with cats, so a feline-free home is a must. Given her history of escaping, she’ll be happiest in a secure yard where she can play safely. After receiving her first round of vaccinations, Cookie is on the lookout for her forever family. If you think you could be that special someone, come meet her today!
