About Gemma

Gemma is a sweet Maltese who recently found herself at the shelter after being relinquished by her owners. Although initially shy around strangers, she’s starting to blossom with the staff and her playful, energetic side is beginning to shine through. She enjoys the company of her kennel mates, so a home with another friendly dog would likely suit her well. Due to her small size and shyness, Gemma would do best in a home with no young children; older kids over 12 who can respect her space might be a better fit. She's not spayed yet but will be soon, and she comes vaccinated and with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet food. Gemma is not yet house trained, but with patience and love, she'll get there. This gentle girl is looking for someone to give her a chance to thrive in a new environment. Your new best friend is just one click away.
