About Chance

Chance lost his home but hasn't lost his love for people. He's incredibly sweet and happiest when curled up next to someone, always ready for couch time or a gentle stroll outside. Potty training is second nature for Chance, and he enjoys his daily walks just as much as a good nap. Despite being a senior at around 8 or 9 years old, Chance still carries himself with the energy and excitement of a youngster. He understands house rhythms, settles down easily at bedtime, and genuinely thrives on companionship. Chance does not get along with other cats or dogs, so he'll do best as the only pet in the house. He’s great with children and clearly relishes his role as the loyal family dog. He’s been waiting in foster care for over a year—longer than most, but his patience hasn’t dulled his loving, gentle nature. Chance is currently in foster care in Trenton, MO, and appointments are needed for meet-and-greet visits. Ready to see what a true cuddler looks like? Ready to fall in love?
