About Chance
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Chance is a large, senior terrier/hound mix with a sweet, cuddly nature who was abandoned by his previous owners. Despite his past, he is incredibly loving and absolutely adores being close to his people. If you're looking for a laid-back companion, Chance is your perfect couch potato, but don’t be fooled—he also enjoys his daily walks and still has plenty of playful spirit left! Reliable and ready for a routine, he knows when it’s time to relax and settle in for bed. Chance is fully potty trained and can't wait to share his big heart with a forever family. While he does best as the only pet, he's wonderful with children and would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention. Currently living with a foster family, he can be met by appointment—just call to schedule your meet-and-greet. If you want a truly affectionate and loyal dog, come and meet Chance; the cuddles are guaranteed! Each dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is spayed/neutered, wormed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and tested for heartworm if old enough. Adopters also receive a starter bag of Hills Science Diet food. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
