Hope is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish her as a family member. She is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want her transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!). Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Hope can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. We stand by our pups for life. In the rare event it isn't a perfect match, Hope is never without a safety net; she will simply return to our care in Oklahoma on the next available transport until her perfect home is found. Meet Hope! Age: 1–2 years old Gender: Female Breed Mix: Possible Corgi / Heeler /Aussie? Mix Weight: Currently around 25–30 lbs (working on gaining a little healthy weight!) Hope is a sweet, gentle girl who is as polite as she is endearing. Just like her friend Faith, Hope is a calm, soulful pup who is looking for a devoted family to give her the loving future she deserves. Personality & Highlights: Wonderful with Kids & Dogs: Hope gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has proven to be incredibly gentle—she was recently tested with a 12-month-old baby and did fantastic! Quiet & Well-Mannered: Hope is remarkably quiet and well-behaved, making her an absolute pleasure to be around. Leash Quirks: She does pretty well on a leash, though every now and then she decides the best way to walk is to flop over and roll right onto her back for a little extra silly charm! Clever Explorer: Hope is a bit of an escape artist who has learned how to climb fences! She will need a secure yard and an attentive family to keep her safe and sound. Cat Testing: Hope has not yet been tested with cats, but we are more than happy to do so upon request. Medical Requirement: IMPORTANT MEDICAL REQUIREMENT: Hope is heartworm positive. Please do not apply if you do not have the financial means and commitment to take her through full heartworm treatment with your veterinarian. Please contact your veterinarian to see how much they would charge for treatment prior to applying. She deserves a family ready to help her heal so she can live a long, happy, healthy life! If you have a secure yard, a big heart, and the ability to guide Hope through her heartworm journey, she is ready to show you just how sweet life can be!
