About Jenkins

Jenkins is a clever 6-year-old Corgi weighing 30 pounds. He's a fetching wizard and can solve puzzles quickly, often dropping the ball right at your feet to get you to throw it again. With a knack for tidying up kitchen messes, Jenkins works for cheers — he loves his cheerios! He knows a whole range of commands like sit, down, and roll, and he's always up for a game. Once he's worn out, he becomes the ultimate snuggler, finding the best spot to cozy up next to you. Jenkins also lets you know when it's dinner time, so get ready for some gentle reminders! Having lived with another dog before, Jenkins faced some challenges that led to redirected aggression towards humans during stressful situations. He’s doing well with treatment, but a home without other dogs is vital for his happiness and safety. He previously lived with an older cat, but his compatibility with new cats isn’t confirmed. Currently in foster care in Texas, Jenkins is available for out-of-state adoption and transport. He comes fully vetted, including vaccinations, neutering, and a health exam. If you're interested in welcoming this intelligent Corgi into your life, you can apply to adopt today!
