About Jafar

Jafar came to us as a stray, and when nobody came to claim him, he officially became one of ours! This goofy boy is an absolute hoot! At about 1-2 years old, Jafar is a young pit mix with short legs and a big personality. He has so much love to give. Meeting new people is one of his favorite pastimes, and he gives the best hugs. When he runs, he leaps through the air like a little deer, bringing a smile to everyone’s face. Jafar is dog-friendly and does okay with cats, though he’s very interested in them, so slow introductions are a must. He enjoys car rides, walks well on a leash, and loves chasing toys—bringing them back might take some convincing. Being young, Jafar needs a family ready for his energy, playful antics, and zest for life. His ideal home has space to run, play, explore, and soak up love. This lovable boy is ready to trade his stray days for a forever family. Could that be you? Come meet Jafar Tuesday–Saturday, from 10 AM to 4 PM. You'll see why we can’t stop laughing at him!
