About Butch
Butch is the couch cuddle buddy you’ve been looking for. This big, handsome guy is happiest stretched out for snuggles, but he’s also up for long walks, digging around the yard, and a lively game of fetch. Butch and his sister Cassidy used to run wild together, often chasing cats, until they landed at the shelter. While they were close in the past, they’ve both come out of their shells and now seem to prefer finding their own homes. Butch is all about people—he loves attention and doesn’t care much for other animals. He’d thrive either as your one and only or possibly sharing space with a calm female dog. Since Butch has a reputation for not getting along with cats, his home should be dog-only. He’s a little shy at first, but once comfortable you’ll see his goofy, sweet side come out—he just needs the right environment to feel safe enough to be himself. Butch weighs in at 69.9lbs and is looking for that special place to call his own. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
