About Bud

Bud, a young Boxer mix, has quite the backstory. He was once a stray in Texas, cared for by a homeless man who wanted to keep him safe. When both were left stranded in Tennessee, kind strangers fed Bud until he could be rescued. He’s been fully vetted and is now on the lookout for a forever home. At nearly two years old, Bud has a playful energy and a gentle nature. He's a social dog who adores people and will follow you everywhere, earning him the title of "velcro dog." Bud does well with other dogs when introduced properly, but it's preferred he finds a home where he can get some individual training, especially since he still has a bit of puppy spirit in him. He has been house trained and is excited to find his new home. Please note that Bud must have a fully fenced yard and we are focusing on adopters in New Jersey, with some consideration for parts of Pennsylvania. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
