About Jasper
Jasper is a playful 5-7 year old Cocker Spaniel weighing about 26 lbs. This medium-sized fellow thrives in a home with a fenced yard, where he can safely explore and enjoy sniff walks as well as cozy up beside you for a snuggle. He has had surgery to address ectropion in both eyes and is up to date on all his vet care, including being neutered. Though Jasper is currently not potty trained, he is working diligently on it and would benefit from a doggie door or a patient owner who can teach him to alert when he needs to go outside. His fascination lies with squeaky toys, as heβs quite the expert at their removal. Jasper can be a jumper, capable of leaping up to 5 feet, so a secure 6-foot fence will be necessary. He does not get along with cats and is best suited for a home without children, as he can be suspicious of new people and may jump. Although he prefers to be near you rather than crated, Jasper is crate trained. His quirky antics include playing fetch, stealing cherry tomatoes from the garden, and enjoying car rides. This sweet boy needs a dedicated family willing to work on his training and help him adjust to a new environment at his own pace. Ready to bring laughter and light into your life?
