About Travis Aka Travvy
Travis, also known as Travvy, is a 1-year-old, small terrier mix with a wiry coat and around 12 pounds of spunk. He started out wary of the world—he came in as a stray—but his confidence keeps growing in foster care. He’s sharp, picks up potty and crate training fast, and has discovered just how much fun toys and snuggling can be. He’s become a true couch companion who dreams of graduating to your bed. Travvy needs a patient, dog-savvy adopter who’ll help him keep building courage. He’s easily startled and still cautious with men and handling, so a calm home that can offer slow intros and steady guidance is important. He’ll need a fenced yard; walking on leash isn’t familiar yet. He enjoys the company of playful, non-dominant dogs. If you don’t have another dog, he’ll do best if someone’s home much of the time. Small kids aren’t a good fit as he’s still gaining confidence, and his history with cats is unknown. Travvy isn’t for someone looking for a turnkey dog—he’s a work in progress who’ll reward a caring, diligent person with loyalty, laughs, and snuggles. With the right leader and environment, he’ll thrive. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
