About Feta
Feta is a wonderful Great Dane around 2 years old, steadily gaining confidence each day. When she first arrived, she weighed only 85 pounds but has since added 6 pounds as she embarks on a much-needed journey of recovery. This lovely girl is still shy and learning to navigate her world. We're working on leash training and exposing her to new experiences to build her confidence. Feta is quite curious about other dogs and enjoys being around people, often sticking close by, which is why she's earned the title of a "Velcro dog." This means capturing her photograph can be tricky as she loves to stay right beside you! It's essential for Feta to find an experienced adopter who understands the unique needs of Great Danes, especially during this crucial time of adjustment. She will thrive in a home that provides the patience and structured environment she needs to flourish. Feta gets along well with other dogs, which could be a great factor in her ongoing development. She's looking for a foster-to-adopt situation where she can continue to grow in confidence. With each small step, Feta is showing us just how much resilience she has. Apply to adopt her at the Orange County Animal Shelter, where she's ready to take her next big leap forward.
