About Gina
Gina is an 8-month-old spayed female Belgian Malinois mix weighing 56 lbs. Rescued after being abandoned as a puppy, she now thrives in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport once an approved adopter is found. This vibrant puppy loves to engage in playful tug-of-war with her small dog siblings, showcasing her playful spirit. However, she can feel a bit nervous around larger dogs and tends to bark at those she doesn't know. Given her past experiences on the street, she needs slow introductions to new canine friends. Gina has a gentle heart and seeks human companionship. Though she hasn't been around children in her foster care, her enthusiastic nature means a home with older dog-savvy kids (10 and up) would be ideal. Keeping an active lifestyle, she thrives with daily playtime and would benefit from having another dog around to share her energy. She's crate trained, house trained, and walks well on a leash, showing intelligence and adaptable behavior. Gina enjoys toys tremendously and will happily entertain herself with them. This beautiful dog is looking for a family who understands the joys and responsibilities of raising an active puppy. A home equipped for positive training, socialization, and plenty of activities will set her up for a great future. If you think you can give Gina the loving home she deserves, consider applying to adopt her today!
