About Leo
Leo is a lively 8-month-old mixed-breed pup located in Texas, ready for a fresh start with a loving family. Weighing in at about 55 pounds, he boasts a unique look with one blue eye and one brown eye. This affectionate boy thrives on attention and loves being by your side, whether that's following you around the house or curling up next to you on the couch at night. With plenty of energy to spare, Leo enjoys daily walks, playing, and exploring, so an active owner or family would suit him best. He's social with other dogs and enjoys playtime, although he’s still learning how to read canine body language. Leo is doing great on his leash walks, maintaining a close distance without pulling, although he can get a little excitable around new people and dogs. House-training is well underway, and he knows basic commands like *sit*. He does experience some mild separation anxiety but is making strides in overcoming it. A family that works remotely or is home often would help him develop confidence when left alone. As he’s not been exposed to cats, his compatibility with them is unknown. Since he is still a playful puppy, he'd do best in homes with children over 12 who can respect his energetic nature. If you're searching for a devoted adventure buddy with a big personality, Leo fits the bill!
