About Ryder

Ryder is a charming 2-year-old male Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler, recently discovered wandering near 380 Brackenridge Road in Vincent, Ohio. This handsome boy sports a striking black-and-white shorthaired coat, complete with blue ticking and a lovely black face accentuated by his golden-brown eyes. He has a notable white stripe on his forehead and short floppy ears that add to his endearing look. Initially a bit shy in his new environment filled with unfamiliar dogs and people, Ryder is now warming up and showing his sweet personality. He's a compact guy, weighing between 30-35 lbs, and walks well on a leash. Ryder will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold, giving his family a chance to reclaim him, so he hopes to reunite soon. If you recognize this adorable Blue Heeler, please reach out to his owner or contact HSOV at (740) 373-5959. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
