About Mudville

Meet Mudville, a joyful young man who brings the spirit of Newport back to life. This Pit Bull Terrier mix adores tennis balls and will happily retrieve them all day long. He’s not just enthusiastic about fetching; he’s incredibly friendly and loves meeting new people as well as canine companions. His size, at 59 pounds, means he sometimes forgets that not everyone is ready for his enthusiastic greetings. While he’s learning better leash manners, Mudville thrives with guidance and support from a family who enjoys outdoor walks and playtime. He does share the field well with other dogs, but cats aren't his favorite teammates due to a previous misunderstanding at spring training. Mudville deserves a loving home and a chance to be part of a family. He would even thrive in a foster home, giving him the opportunity to relax, bond, and show you what a wonderful companion he can be. Important to note: His preference is for a backyard with stadium lighting—just a quirky request from an aspiring athlete! If you’re ready for an adventure with an affectionate, playful dog, Mudville is waiting for you.
