About Boogie

Meet Boogie! This charming three-and-a-half-year-old Dogo Argentino mix is currently living in Glendora, CA. Weighing in at 90 pounds, his big heart matches his impressive size, showcased by his striking white coat adorned with bold black patches. Boogie's journey hasn’t been the easiest, yet he’s maintained his gentle spirit and love for life. Rescued from a challenging situation, he is now on the lookout for a new adventure and a loving home to call his own. Ideal for anyone seeking a loyal hiking buddy or a cuddly companion, Boogie brings joy in every moment. He's playful and affectionate, showing off his goofy side when splashing in the pool or wrapping his giant paws around you for a full-body hug. Boogie is best with older kids who can keep up with his playful energy, and he thrives on human companionship, whether it’s lounging on the couch or exploring the great outdoors. While he is dog-selective and has shown aggression towards other dogs in the past, he needs to be the only pet in the home. A fenced-in yard is recommended for this active boy to safely play and stretch his legs. Boogie is house-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Though he hasn’t undergone formal training, he knows “sit” and responds well to positive reinforcement, especially when treats are involved. He can be left alone for short periods but flourishes with consistent human interaction. Boogie radiates gratitude, making him memorable and loving. Luckily, his current family is open to fostering while he finds a new home. They’ll provide food and supplies to ease the transition and ensure his comfort. If you think you could provide Boogie with a forever home, email adopt@joyfulpets.com for more information about adopting him. He’s even open to long-distance adoption, proving that love knows no bounds! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
