Meet Thelma, a sweet little girl found running the streets, searching for a home where she truly belongs. Now in her foster care, she’s ready to find her forever family and share her love with the world. Thelma is friendly with both dogs and cats, showing her gentle nature as a cuddle-loving lap dog. She’s currently in training for housebreaking and learning to enjoy the great outdoors. Thelma isn’t fond of being crated and will need some extra guidance to feel comfortable in small spaces. Walking on a leash is a new adventure for her, and she will require patience to build her confidence. When meeting new people, Thelma can be a bit cautious, but she learns quickly who to trust, as evidenced by her rapid bonding with her foster in just a few days. She treasures quality time, following her humans around and asking for affection when needed. If you’re busy with chores, she’ll keep you company, reminding you to take a moment to relax with her. Though not yet spayed, Thelma is up to date on vaccinations. The good news is, through a special low-cost spay/neuter program, she can be spayed for just $20 with proof of adoption.
