Currently in a foster home in Austin, Texas, he’s ready to find his forever home and can be transported once an adopter is approved. Frankie's journey began under tough circumstances; he was found tied in the yard along with his sister, left behind by family. Since entering foster care, Frankie has been learning to trust again and develop his affectionate personality. He may initially appear shy, but when he feels safe, his gentle nature shines through. In his foster home, he’s living with four other large dogs and gradually gaining confidence. Frankie often enjoys playing tug-of-war or shredding cardboard, although he prefers to observe before joining in. His approach to new experiences is cautious but never aggressive—he chooses to retreat instead of reacting defensively. Frankie is wonderful with his canine companions and likely to thrive in a home with a calm dog that can help him adjust. He has not yet been exposed to cats or children, but his gentle demeanor suggests he would fit well in a home with older children who can respect his boundaries. A quieter environment with a steady routine will be important for helping him build confidence and feel secure. House training has been a success, and Frankie has shown no indoor accidents.
