About Nala

Nala has spent far too long waiting for her turn to find a home. Rescued alongside her brother from a precarious situation, she watched him get adopted while she remained behind, hoping for her own family. Living in a kennel at a veterinary clinic since March, she is restless and deserves so much more. This young girl is eager for love and ready to bond with her future family. Nala is affectionate and enjoys attention, though her excitement sometimes leads her to jump up in greeting. With patience and guidance, she's sure to continue learning good manners. Nala has been tested with other dogs and gets along well, making her a great candidate for a home with a compatible canine friend. While she shows interest in chasing cats, a cat-free home is recommended for her. With a good foundation in potty training, she has kept her kennel clean, but her behavior in an actual home will need to be further explored. Currently in a foster home, Nala is available for transport within the continental United States, although adoptions to Massachusetts residents cannot be processed at this time.
