About Mylo
Meet Mylo, a lively one-year-old chocolate brown dachshund with distinct tan and white markings. He came to Little Paws after his owner had to move. Mylo is a spirited little guy, weighing in at 16 pounds, and his high energy will surely brighten your mornings—especially when he spins around a few times before doing his business! Mylo thrives on daily walks and playtime, confidently strutting on a leash. However, he's a bit of an escape artist, so secure gates are a must. With a prey drive that inclines him to chase birds, keeping him safe and secure is essential. He manages well in a pen when left alone, though he does whine slightly at first. Mylo is generally quiet and adjusts well to homes with shared walls. Socially, Mylo gets along with other dogs, carefully matching their energy while respecting their space. He may bark at male dogs during walks but shows a loving side when he warms up to people, quickly turning into a cuddly companion. He prefers to have his paws off-limits when meeting new folks, and while he’s untested with young children, he might be suitable for a home with older kids who understand his needs. Mylo is in West Columbia, SC, and ready to bring joy to the right family. Click apply to start the adoption process.
