About Ruby

Meet Ruby! This sweet, playful girl is around 3 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. She’s a Dachshund mix with a lively spirit and great personality. Ruby and her mother, Rosie, came to rescue after their family moved and left them behind. Despite this tough experience, Ruby remains cheerful and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She enjoys playing and would thrive in a home with another younger, active dog to match her energy. Ruby and Rosie share a special bond; they do everything together, sleep close, and have been through a lot as a pair. It's important to note that Ruby and Rosie will only be adopted together—they’re inseparable and deserve to stay with each other in a loving home. A home without young children is necessary to ensure a good fit. Ruby is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, as well as on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you think you can provide the loving home these two girls deserve, please apply today!
