About Denim

Meet Denim! This eight-year-old Boxer/German Shepherd mix is a warm ray of sunshine with a stunning tan coat accented by white. Denim has mastered the art of companionship and is ready to share her heart with a new loving family. If cuddling were an Olympic sport, she'd surely take home the gold! You’ll often find her right beside you, whether you're watching television, working from home, or unwinding after a long day. A gentle head scratch or belly rub can elevate her already sunny disposition. Despite her mature age, Denim exudes energy and enthusiasm, especially when it's walk time. The joy of exploring the neighborhood and basking in the sun lights up her day. House-trained, crate-trained, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations, she has completed formal training and knows commands like sit, stay, down, and even twirl. She loves dental chew toys and car rides too! Denim thrives with structure, regular exercise, and positive reinforcement. She would do best in a home with older, respectful children and pet parents who can offer guidance and affection. Due to an incident with a small dog, she needs to be placed in a home without cats or small dogs. While she might be compatible with some larger dogs with careful management, she has never shown aggression toward people. Above all, Denim seeks a family that appreciates loyal companionship and a fluffy friend to cuddle with through every chapter of life.
