About Poppy

Poppy is a delightful little kitten who is just beginning to come out of her shell, much like the flower she’s named after. She has a gentle and playful nature but tends to be more on the shy side, taking her time to assess new situations before diving in. However, every day brings her a little more courage. Her foster mom affectionately calls her Birdie, reminiscent of her timid demeanor when she first arrived. As she grows more comfortable in her surroundings, Poppy's blossoming confidence is heartwarming to observe. She thrives with the presence of other friendly cats, who can guide her through her explorations. She’s currently in a foster home with dogs and is gradually learning that they aren’t as scary as she initially thought. Poppy would do best in a calm and quiet forever home, where her family understands the value of patience and can celebrate her small victories. With a loving environment and a playful feline companion, Poppy has all the love she needs to thrive into a wonderful cat. Currently located in Chattanooga, TN, Poppy is available for adoption but cannot be adopted by residents of Massachusetts. Think you can provide the supportive environment she needs?
