About Lucy
Lucy is a 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog and Husky mix currently in a loving foster home in Texas after escaping a difficult shelter situation. Her foster describes her simply as a dream, and for a good reason. This sweet girl radiates calmness; she’s quiet, crate trained, and easy to manage. Whether she's riding in the car or socializing with people and other dogs, Lucy brings a wonderful presence to any environment. Though she hasn’t been formally tested with cats, she shows no noticeable prey drive. At 4 years old, Lucy is past the chaotic puppy stage, but she’s still young enough to enjoy adventures—be it road trips, strolls around the neighborhood, or cozy evenings in. She's currently carrying a few extra pounds, which makes her all the more lovable. With a little help from a balanced diet and regular exercise, she will be back to her best self in no time. Lucy has already faced challenges and come out strong; now she just needs a family to provide her the loving home she truly deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
