About Mochi

Meet Mochi, a playful three-month-old black kitten who's full of curiosity and charm. His favorite perch is a window hammock, where he enjoys watching the world or perhaps a good show on TV, always close by yet proudly independent. Mochi is like an “aloof admirer,” letting you know he's there without being overbearing. Expect sweet greetings at the door and cozy cuddle sessions if you invite him. This little guy has a healthy appetite and will eagerly let you know when it's mealtime with his adorable meows and gentle leg rubs. Mochi is playful too; he loves fuzzy balls and has a surprising knack for fetch, bringing them back for another round. Cardboard boxes and paper bags are his playground, and he occasionally takes off on a wild race up the back of the couch to his hammock. Mochi is already litter box and scratching post trained. He has been comfortable around a lively 10-year-old, plays well with other cats, and potentially gets along with dogs, making him a versatile addition to any home. Having spent some time as a stray, he’s curious about the outside world and often watches the scenery through the screen door. While he’s in a playful phase that includes a bit of play-biting, this behavior is typical for kittens and hasn’t posed any issues in his interactions so far. Not fond of car rides or vacuums, he’s more likely to chase a broom during your cleaning sessions. If you’re seeking a fun-loving, independent companion who enjoys being near you, apply to meet Mochi and see if he’s the friend your family has been waiting for!
