About Rapala
Rapala is a classic brown tabby with short fur and a gentle presence. He spent his early days near the Como Lake Fishing Pier until a kind Parks worker gave him a safe place to land. Though he’s been through some tough times, Rapala has grown into a sweet, affectionate cat who just needs a bit of patience and understanding. He tends to be shy in busy spaces or when there are lots of other cats, but in a quiet, calm home, his true personality comes out. Once comfortable, he loves curling up beside you, leans into pets, and isn’t shy about asking for attention—he might even march across your laptop to make his point. Rapala thrives on kindness and gentleness. He’s looking for a home that offers him the chance to build confidence at his own pace. He gets along well with other cats and children but prefers a setting that isn’t too overwhelming. His adoption fee is currently reduced by 50% to help him get a fresh start. Born August 2, Rapala is a Leo, so he has a loyal, affectionate heart beneath that soft, quiet exterior. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
