She came to Mostly Mutts from a hoarding situation but has quickly become a happy and affectionate companion in her foster home. This gentle soul gets along well with other dogs but prefers to eat alone, as she has a tendency to steal food during mealtime. Evelyn is described as 'cat-friendly', but her interaction with cats may depend on their temperament. While she hasn't been around small children, it's best to have older kids in the home, as her small size could lead to accidental accidents. Evelyn's personality is truly endearing; she loves cuddling and being close to her humans. Her calm demeanor makes her the perfect lap dog for someone who works from home or stays at home. Although her leash manners are a work in progress, Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all adopted dogs, so they can learn together. Potty training is also still in development, and she uses puppy pads and is getting used to going outside, but she needs monitoring due to her small size. This lovely girl is spayed, micro-chipped, and current on vaccinations. Evelyn is on the lookout for her forever family where she can spread her love and warmth.
