Dawson is a charming 13-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a vibrant spirit. Weighing in at just 9 pounds, he may be a senior, but his playful energy brings to mind a much younger pup. Found wandering and brought to us from a local shelter, we learned his microchip revealed a long history that tells us he still has plenty of joyful years ahead. He adores snuggling up and has a habit of following his foster mom around, earning the nickname "Velcro pup." Though Dawson is a bit hard of hearing, he responds well to soft claps or coughs and is even learning a sign for "sit." His love for short walks in the crisp fall air adds to his charm, as he hops around the house with zest. Dawson is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash.
