Koda is house trained, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Currently residing in New York, NY, she’s ready for her new home where she can thrive and receive the attention and exercise she deserves.

Meet KODA! Koda is a playful 5-month-old Husky mix, weighing in at about 27 lbs as of early October. With her unique appearance, including the signature blue eyes inherited from her mom Alaska, Koda showcases her Husky lineage well. This puppy embodies a joyful spirit that's typical for her age, bringing a mix of playfulness and calmness compared to her sibling, Nova. Currently fostered with several dogs, Koda thrives on social interactions and enjoys running around the yard. She's equally content being the only dog, provided her adoptive family can dedicate time to her as she grows. Koda has shown curiosity towards stray cats but hasn’t met them up close yet. With proper introductions, we believe she'd adapt well to living with cats. Friendly with both men and women, Koda has the potential to integrate into a family with respectful children, even though she hasn't encountered them in her foster home. Her leash training is progressing, and while she does well, she may need some guidance on walking manners. Koda sleeps soundly through the night and can be crated when necessary. Rescued from a busy road in Puerto Rico, she’s already spayed, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home.
