About Juice

Meet Juice, a charming 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix who weighs around 56 lbs. Known affectionately as Joey in his foster home, he has soulful eyes and a gentle heart that's eager for love and safety. Juice has had a rocky past, but he’s ready to find a calming, loving space where he can truly flourish. Juice is affectionate and enjoys cuddling. He has a playful side with his toys but especially loves lounging next to his person, resting his head and paw on your arm. He can be a bit shy with new faces, so slow introductions work wonders. Once he builds trust, Juice shows an unwavering loyalty. While Juice has enjoyed playing with neighborhood dogs, he has become more cautious around unfamiliar ones. He prefers to be the only dog in the home to receive all the attention he craves. Cat owners should note that Juice does not get along with cats and may chase them. With a moderate energy level, Juice appreciates daily walks but pulls on the leash when excited. Positive reinforcement and patience are key to his training, as he can become anxious with harsh corrections. He’s crate-trained and sleeps soundly, but he still needs some fine-tuning on his potty manners. Juice thrives in a quiet environment with soft-spoken adults who understand the importance of patience in his healing process. He is a sensitive soul looking for someone to help him feel safe and cherished. Offer Juice that, and he'll give you his entire heart. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
