Aspen is a young female Black Mouth Cur/Labrador Retriever mix with a large frame and a short, bicolor coat. She lives in Fort Mill, SC, and loves being around children. This snuggly pup is still growing and learning, but she’s already showing excellent house manners.

About Aspen

Aspen landed with the rescue in early November, having come straight from a shelter where she spent her first hours shivering and clearly craving the comfort of a family. She's still just a pup—born in early July—so everything feels new for her. Her current foster says Aspen has become a lopsided-eared wonder overnight, thanks to those floppy ears starting to perk up. She’s gentle and, honestly, can be described as an angel. Aspen has great house manners for her age, no accidents, and she seems to genuinely adore the kids in her foster home. Cheddar bits tend to win her heart, but carrots, not so much. She already knows 'sit' and 'come', and work continues on her bedtime routine. Aspen's breed mix is a best guess, and her favorite thing is to simply cuddle up after a long day. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
