About Gander

Gander is a gentle giant in need of a loving home. This 77-pound Great Pyrenees, at two years old, has found that he’s more suited to being a companion than a livestock guardian; he gets intimidated easily by other animals. He’s playful, good with both dogs and cats, and enjoys spending time with people. Gander walks well on a leash and does well in a 4-foot chain-link enclosure, though he’s not yet crate trained, so some patience will be needed! Gander is neutered and heartworm negative, with gastropexy already completed. As he requires a new placement by October 22, finding a foster or adopter is urgent.
