About Asher
Meet Asher. Asher is a striking young Great Pyrenees with an inviting personality. At just over a year old, he’s still maturing but already knows how to enjoy life. He's people-oriented and loves engaging in activities, thriving on routine and structure. Social by nature, Asher enjoys meeting new faces and spending time outdoors, but he's not heavily focused on toys. Instead, he flourishes with regular exercise and interaction, especially if there are treats involved, as he is very food-motivated. Asher has some basic obedience training under his belt. He needs a confident handler who can guide him with clarity. Though he can be a bit excitable and may pull on the leash, he looks to his person for direction and continues to improve with consistent training. Attending doggy daycare, he plays well with female dogs but prefers a home without males due to some discomfort. Dog parks aren’t the best fit for him, but he thrives in more controlled social environments. Asher shows curiosity toward cats but needs a patient introduction; a dog-savvy cat may coexist peacefully with him. He’s accustomed to regular grooming, including baths and nail trims, and will need consistent brushing to keep his coat in good shape. His ideal home should embrace routine and provide clear guidance, allowing him to continue learning and adapting. Asher is ready to bring joy and companionship to a nurturing environment.
