About Panic at the Disco

Panic at the Disco, affectionately known as “Disco Boy,” is a charming 2-3-year-old Chi/Rat Terrier mix currently seeking his forever home. Weighing about 8 pounds, he showcases a delightful blend of playful and cuddly traits, with a hint of shyness and a touch of quirkiness. He has a fondness for toys, loves snuggling under blankets, and delights with his unique mouth-play routine that’s sure to bring a smile to your face. Disco came to us from Denver Animal Shelter as an owner surrender and has blossomed. Initially underweight at less than 7 pounds, he has now reached a healthier size. He is still learning about the world around him and may be nervous around strangers, taking a bit longer to warm up to women while feeling more comfortable with men. Once he trusts you, he is an affectionate companion who enjoys cuddles and attention. He greatly benefits from the companionship of other small dogs and would thrive with a playful canine friend. Disco shows no interest in cats and has had positive interactions with children. Although he has medium energy, he enjoys casual activities and, after some playtime, is content to relax on the couch. Currently, Disco is still working on his house training and needs a patient family willing to help him learn. He can be left alone for 5-6 hours but prefers to have company. With a little bit of time and a gentle touch, Disco can become the joyful and loving pet we know he can be. If your household can offer him the time, love, and assurance he needs, he’ll happily share his life and those cozy spots on the couch with you. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
