About Lumos
Meet Lumos! (You can call him Lu, Lu-Lu, or Loopy.) This sweet, goofy guy is getting the hang of life indoors quite quickly. While new sights and sounds might prompt a few barks—like his reflection, the TV, or even a Roomba—he settles down fast once he realizes he’s safe. Lumos adores other dogs, big or small, and he’s quite the enthusiastic friend. Just a heads up, he might jump on canine siblings, so they should be ready for his playful antics. He’s recently discovered the joy of toys and loves to play, even finding a good stick entertaining! He is crate trained and adapts well both overnight and when left alone, while house training is progressing nicely with regular outdoor trips. Accidents are rare. Excellent in the car, he happily enjoys longer drives without fussing. Lumos has met kids and chickens, and his gentle nature shone through with both. He stays calm during baths, nail trims, and professional grooming. Though Lumos is still unearthing the wonders of the world, he shows us each day how quickly he learns. What he needs now is a family to continue helping him thrive as the happy, adaptable dog he is. And don’t worry about his name—he’s open to whatever his forever family chooses, whether it’s changing to Lumos, Lu, Loopy, or something entirely new. This little poodle mix is about 6 months old and weighs around 18 lbs. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for 4DX. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
