About Honey
Meet Honey — the sweetest little house hippo! This delightful 5-year-old, 40-pound Staffie mix has a big heart and an even bigger personality that lights up the room. Rescued just in time from the euthanasia list, Honey is eager to find the loving forever home she deserves. Known for her affectionate nature, she loves everyone she meets and thrives on being by your side. Honey is house trained, crate trained, and knows her way around a doggy door, making her an easy-going companion. She settles into routines with grace and is not destructive. Living with six other dogs, Honey gets along great with both males and females. She can be a bit overly enthusiastic with new dog friends at first, but she quickly calms down once introductions are complete. A big fan of toys, you’ll often find her happily roaming around the house with one in her mouth. Honey has taken it upon herself to create a little treasure hoard of bones outside, showing her quirky side. This charming pup also enjoys car rides and has even become the team mascot at weekly softball games, relishing every moment spent with her humans. Despite her short legs, Honey has the heart of a giant; she is silly, loyal, playful, and incredibly sweet. She is looking for a family to love her unconditionally and include her in their daily adventures. Honey is ready to pack her bags and join you in your home.
