Meet Honey, the sweetest little house hippo! This approximately 5-year-old, 40-pound Staffie mix may be compact in size, but her big heart and lively personality fill the room with joy. Rescued just in time from the euthanasia list, Honey is now ready to find her forever family. Honey absolutely loves everyone. She thrives on companionship and is happiest when by your side. If a cuddly friend who wants to join in on all your activities sounds ideal, Honey is your girl! She is fully house trained and crate trained and knows how to use a doggy door. With her treat motivation, she listens well and has mastered her manners. Currently living with six other dogs, Honey gets along great with both male and female pups, and while she can be a bit enthusiastic when meeting new friends, she calms down quickly. Toys are Honey's delight. You’ll often find her happily trotting around the house with one in her mouth, and she loves to create her own little treasure piles of bones outside. This playful girl also enjoys car rides and actively participates as the official mascot at weekly softball games, where she is always eager to be with her favorite humans.
