About Sweetie Pounds

Sweetie Pounds is a tiny companion with an enormous heart, making her an ideal match for anyone seeking unconditional love. Her journey has not been easy; after being surrendered to the City of Houston Shelter due to family limitations, she found temporary solace with a kind woman. Unfortunately, that situation ended abruptly, and now this lovable Shih Tzu mix is searching for her true forever home. At just 3 years old and around 8 pounds, Sweetie thrives on affection, eagerly giving kisses and snuggling up in laps. She thrives on companionship, especially from other small dogs, and enjoys her daily walks and playtime with toys. Sweetie may need some patience for house training, as she has spent part of her life outdoors, but she is learning to use pee pads indoors. Sweetie has recently been groomed and sports a shorter haircut currently, but she’s equally adorable with her longer coat. Spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, she is ready to leave uncertainty behind and find a family that will cherish her. Could you be the one to give Sweetie the loving home she deserves? She’s ready to fill your heart and lap with joy.
